Monique A. Wells

Monique (Mo’/Mo-Mo) Antionette Wells Moody age 31 of Cleveland Tn, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on July 7, 2025.

She was a sister, wife, mother, niece, great niece, God sister, and friend to all. Her greatest joy was spending time with her son, Kayden, whom she lovingly called “bookie.” She was full of life and never met a stranger. She loved taking pictures, talking and hanging out with friends, and listening to music. Her greatest strength was always having a smile and doing her best to make sure someone else was encouraged.

She was preceded in death by her mother Maxine Smart-Wells, grandparents Henry & Mary Wells and Shaw & Imogene Smart. Those left to cherish her memories are son Kayden Moody (Nathaniel Moody), parents Rodney and Sharon Wells, Auntie-Momma Liz Wells, Godmother Tona Williams, Special Grandmother Lilieth Barton, special Auntie Pauline Smith, in laws Michael and Tessa Moody, aunts Karen (Chris) Barton of Chattanooga, TN, Veronica Wilson and Jennifer (Kevin) Smart-Dowe of Pennsylvania, uncles Christopher (April) Wells and Jeff Brown of Cleveland, TN, cousins/siblings Nathaniel, Gabrielle and Emmanuel Barton of Chattanooga, TN, special cousins Kevin Dowe Jr. and Richard Williams of Pennsylvania, Onnie Wells of Cleveland, TN, adopted brother” Jacob Edwards, “adopted sister” Stephanie Allman, special friends Cobretti Hudgins, Kimberly Boran, Lindsey Smith, LeeAnn Emersen, Chezna Emerson, Melissa Cabrera, Chelsea McDonald, and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 18, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the North Cleveland Church of God Dixon Chapel with Bishop Dr. J.Z. Valentin Ph.d of Vision Ministries Chattanooga, TN delivering the eulogy.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Fort Hill Cemetery in Cleveland, TN.
