Michael Moore

Michael Hutson Moore age 62 went home to be with the Lord, February 9, 2022.

He is preceded in death by his sister Jackie Clark. Michael is also preceded in death by brother-in-law Tommy Clark, and his  parents Irene Inman and Richard Moore, brothers, Rick Moore, and Sonny Moore. Sisters, Evelyn Moore, Tina Contreas, Geraldine Moore.

Survivors include niece, Latheia A. Sensibaugh, and nephew George Lee Buchanan Jr.

Four great nieces and nephews, Latisha Maureen Buchanan, Izak Sensibaugh,  Tristan Lee Buchanan, and Destiny Buchanan. Two great-great niece and nephew, Phallon Moore and K’ayyana  Thompson. One brother, Victor Felix and one sister Vickie Felix of Orlando, Fl., nephew Terry Moore.

Funeral services will be Friday, February 18, 2022. There will be a family gathering at M.D. Dotson and Sons Funeral Home – Athens funeral at 10:00 a.m. and graveside services and burial at Sweetwater Memorial Gardens at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. David Gamble officiating and Dale Gillespie offering sign interpreter service.

M.D. Dotson & Sons Funeral Home will continue to be in compliance with COVID-19, mask are required at all times, and we will monitor for social distancing.
