Melissa Maureen Cash

Melissa Maureen Cash, born August 15, 1963 to parents Nancy Ladd and Eugene Cash. She departed this life January 10, 2025. She was raised by her mom and her step father John Williams. Maureen was amember of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Cleveland, TN and a 1981 graduate of Bradley High School. She attended and graduated from Cleveland State Community College in 1983. 

Maureen met and fell in love with William “LadyBug” Blair. They have two children Desiree M’Shea Blair of Maryville, TN and William Howard Blair Jr. of Cleveland, Tn. 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Lewis & Mary Ruth Ladd. Adoptive grandparents Pearl & Willie Cash. Her mother Nancy & stepfather John Williams, and the love of her life William Blair. 

 Maureen leaves to cherish her memory: her children Desiree M’Shea Blair of Maryville, Tn and William Howard Blair of Cleveland, Tn. Her best friend Valerie Bradley & cousins; Shannon Constant Jones, Pastor Rhonda Westfield, and Vanessa Tate. Special bond with the Blair Family. 

 Funeral service will be held at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church on Thursday January 23, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor, Rev. Edward S. Robinson officiating and Minister Solomon Williams delivering the eulogy. The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow the service at Fort Hill Cemetery.
