Marshall Travis Blair

CMarshall Travis Blair age 76 of Cleveland, TN passed away on Monday June 22, 2026, at a medical facility in Chattanooga, TN., leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Marshall Blair and Ella Mae Thompson Blair, and his beloved son Octavious Lamont Blair.

Marshall graduated from College Hill High School and was in the U.S. Navy for a short time.

He is survived by his devoted family, including his son, Joshua(Amber) Blair of Cleveland, TN., his sister, Ella Zanetta Taylor of Cleveland, TN., and his special friends Betty McGhee. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Elexus(Jose) Rodriguez of Nashville, TN., and Emacia(Amanda) Blair of Athens, TN. His great-grandchildren, Brealind Taylor of Nashville,TN., and Katiaa Blair of Athens, TN., as well as his nephews, Clayton Taylor of Cleveland, TN., and Nigel(Melissa) Blair of Cleveland, TN.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of M.D. Dotson and Sons Funeral Home – Cleveland, TN with Rev. Edward S. Robinson Sr. delivering the eulogy. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. Marshall will be honored with burial in the Veteran Section of Fort Hill Cemetery following the service.
