Kerry D. Smith, II

Kerry Dovon Smith II age 31 born in Cleveland, TN passed Tuesday, December 9, 2025 from an auto accident in Cookeville, Tn.

Kerry was a 2012 graduate of Walker Valley High School, where he played basketball and football. He enjoyed his family especially his girls and being their dad. Together with his Mom and the girls they were the biggest Titan fans ever!

He is preceded in death by his father Kerry D. Smith Sr. Great-grandmother Violet Smith, and great-grandfather John ‘tail light’ Smith, grandfather Austin Tate Sr., and grandmother Wanda Smith.

Loving memories and cherish times are left with his mother Lisa Yvonne Tate Smith, grandmother Margaret Barrett Tate, his three girls, Amora Nevaeh Sarras, Amina Rose Smith, and Amira Yvonne Smith. Sister, Karessa Smith, and fiancée Sarah Sarras, brother CJ Bryant. Uncles, Ricky Smith, Carlton Smith and Austin (Pamela) Tate Jr., and Calvin “Sonny” (Jan) Crawford. Aunts, Vanessa Constant, Shannon (Carlos) Jones, Aileen (Patrick) Sheppherd and Martha (Darryl) Craigmiles. Special friends, Kay and Ronald McClure, Allen Sharp, Nygel Smith and Brandon Goldston.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 12:00 noon at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Cleveland, Tn with Rev. Edward S. Robinson Sr. delivering the eulogy. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. Interment will follow the service at Fort Hill Cemetery.
