Karen Yvonne Asbury

Karen Yvonne  Asbury age 66 of Sweetwater, TN passed Sunday, December 4, 2022 in a Sweetwater , TN hospital.

She was raised in the Christian fellowship of 1 st Church United in Sweetwater, TN. Although she insisted on her own independence she spend a great deal of time under the watchful eye of her late sister Monica Johnson.

She is also preceded in death by her  mother Mary Glenn Asbury, two brothers, Lebron McGaughey and Graylon McGaughey, aunt Gladys Wells, and brother-in-law Glenn Johnson.

Survivors include brother, Arnold Asbury of Sweetwater, TN., and Jason McGaughey of Athens, TN. Nieces, Shamara Asbury of Athens, TN and Arnita Asbury of Detroit, MI. Aunts, Pat McClendon, Jackie Latham, of Sweetwater, TN and Mary Swafford of Athens, TN, and uncles Hugh Latham Jr. of Sweetwater, TN., niece, Tiana McGaughey, nephews, Arnold Asbury II, and Jordan McGaughey.
