Jocelyn King

Jocelyn Annette King age 56 of Cleveland, Tn passed away Friday, September 12, 2025 at her residence. She attended Bradley Central High School class of 1987, and was a former employee at Duracell in Cleveland, TN. She also was employed at Bradley Cleveland Services delivering meals on wheels to the elderly. She loved working with people. She was a people person.She attended Mt. Lebanon Church in Calhoun, TN.

She is preceded in death by her mother Janice Marie Phillips- Ware, grandparents, James Austin and Jean Phillips, Daniel L. King, and Margaret Ann King of Riceville, TN.

Survivors include one daughter, Jalen King, and one son Cantrell Ware, father Harry King, and life partner William Allen ‘Bo’ Ware all of Cleveland, TN. Two brothers, Adrean King of Calhoun, TN, and Eric Greathouse of Cleveland, TN. Four grandchildren,Malaysia Williams, Kaia Ware, Braylon King, andKingston Ware. Four aunts, Helen (Allen) Moore, Linda Greathouse, and Brenda Greathouse all of Cleveland, TN, Jeanine (Lendell) Davis of Fayetteville, NC., and Doris King-Mayes of Riceville, TN. Special friends Carlotta Lovelace, Rod Love, Lamar Ware,Karin and Kregg Ware and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 18, 2025 in the chapel of M.D. Dotson and Sons Funeral Home – Cleveland, TN 12:00 noon with pastor Rev. Edward King officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. Interment will follow the service at Fort Hill Cemetery.
