Jacqueline Nadean Sharp, age 79, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. Jacqueline was born on December 10, 1945 to the late Roberta and Raymond C. Martin Sr. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ella Mae and West Davis, and Lassie & Lucian Martin, her brothers Raymond C. Martin, Jr., Lucian J. Martin and Wendell Gaines, her sister Marcia (Marvin Sr.) Wood, uncles Wadie and Edwin Davis, her aunt Sally Meredith, niece Yavonka N. Wood, and her firstborn son, John Lorenzo Sharp. Jacqueline was a vibrant person with a kind and generous heart who loved to travel. One of her favorite vacation getaways was the beach - any beach - and she travelled to many of them.

Jacqueline was employed at Bowaters Incorporation where she retired after 33 years of service. She was a faithful member of the Body of Christ and worshipped at Second Street Church of Christ. She was a 1963 graduate of College Hill School where she was a basketball shooting star! She often stated that if she did not score 30 points, she had a bad night.

Jacqueline leaves to cherish her memories four sisters, Pecola (JT) Toney, Vanessa Martin, and Alison Martin all of Cleveland, TN and Ramona (Clyde) Dowell of Richmond, VA. Five brothers Thomas (Barbara) Davis of Jacksonville, FL, Edwin, Dwight, Darryl (Connie), and Alphonso (Robin) Martin all of Cleveland, TN. Her daughters Javon Sharp and Sonia (Tony) Calvin of Cleveland, TN and Tonia Sharp of Bradenton, FL. Grandsons O'Bryan Sharp, and Monte (Jessica) Scotton of Bradenton, FL, Tony Reynolds of Houston, TX, Jamaal ( Amanda) Calvin of Cleveland, TN. Great Grandchildren Sydnee Sharp, Kaden and Roman Scotton of Bradenton, FL, Raeni Reynolds of Houston, TX and Leilani and A'Mari Calvin of Cleveland, TN and Great-Great Grandson Carter Sharp of Bradenton, FL. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special friends Merle Johnson, Jean Whaley, Trudy Whaley, Bennette Ramsey, Betty Person, and Thomas Scotton and former spouse John Wesley Sharp, Jr.

Home going celebration service will be Sunday, September 14, 2025 at 1:00 p.m.at the Second Street Church of Christ in Cleveland, Tn with Brother Ronald Simmons and Minister Thomas Davis officiating. The family will receive friends one before the service on Sunday from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. Family will also receive friend on Saturday September 13, 2025 at M.D. Dotson and Sons Funeral Home in Cleveland, TN from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Interment will follow the service on Sunday at Fort Hill Cemetery. Services of loving memory entrusted to M.D. Dotson and Sons Funeral Home - Cleveland, TN.
