Missionary Mother Hazel Marie Ramsey transitioned to be with the Lord on May 5th, 2025 while resting in her home. She was a lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN. God has truly blessed her with a long life and a loving family for almost 95 years.

Hazel Marie Ramsey, age 94, was born June 7th, 1930 to the late Gideon and Lessie Austin Anderson. She was married to Robert Charles (Cansler) Ramsey on December 27, 1950. She worked for many years as a cafeteria worker for the city of Cleveland at the local elementary schools and the local high school.  She enjoyed cooking, sewing, traveling, and she loved to shop and fellowship with family and friends.

She committed her life to God at the Pugh Street Church of God in 1961.  And she was instrumental in fundraising for the new church building constructed on Inman Street in 1962.  This is the current location of Fellowship of Praise Church of God.  She has worked and served as needed in many roles with her church family for over 50 years.
