David Vernon Neil Jr 57 of Athens, TN passed away Monday, September 8, 2025. He was born and raised in Athens, TN.
David was preceded in death by his mother Eula Lee Neil and father David Vernon Neil Sr., sisters, Brenda and Kathy Roberts, brother Calvin Roberts, and son Tyler Neil.
David leaves behind to cherish his memory life partner Audrey Contreras, daughters, Amber Neil, and Amanda Neil, son David ‘Trey’ Neil, four grandsons, Dushawn, Damarion, Dakodah, and Xiylen. sisters, Shelia Simpson, Felicia Johnson, Lots of loved nieces, nephews, and cousins, and special friends Allen Burke and Tim White.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, September 21, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Athens, TN.
