Damian Burke (DD)

Damian Burke, age 50, passed away on June 20, 2026, at Bradley Medical Center in Cleveland, Tennessee. He was born on May 20, 1976, in Tacoma, Washington.

Damian was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was a family-oriented man who deeply loved those around him. He especially loved his wife, Melissa, and cherished the life they shared together. His family meant the world to him, and he never missed an opportunity to stay connected with the people he loved.

Damian was known for regularly calling family members and friends just to check on them, encourage them, and let them know he cared. He loved spending time with family, attending gatherings and outings, and creating memories with those closest to him. He had a warm spirit, a generous heart, and a sense of humor that could brighten any room. Damian loved life, loved to laugh, and enjoyed being around people. He was the kind of person who could make others smile simply by being himself.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Bradley, and his brother, Jarrett Bradley.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Melissa Burke; his loving mother, Victoria Smith; his sisters, Najoya Cobb, Latisha Greene, Tyria Bradley, Jaquetta Covington, and Tyesha Covington; his brother, Jeremy Covington; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Danny and Lisa Ensley; nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

Among those who will forever cherish his memory are Daniel Ensley, Dylan Ensley, Kristian Ensley, Megan Ensley, Dakota Haines, and Katie Haines, along with many other loved ones whose lives were touched by his kindness and friendship.

A special bond was shared between Damian and his longtime best friend, Glenn Meadows. Their friendship was built on loyalty, trust, laughter, and years of cherished memories. Glenn remained a faithful friend throughout Damian's life and will offer reflections in celebration of his life during the funeral service.

While Damian will be greatly missed, his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His laughter, kindness, love for family, and joyful spirit will never be forgotten.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 27, 2026 in the chapel of M.D. Dotson and Sons Funeral Home – Cleveland, TN from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.
