Colleen Brown

Colleen Brown, age 67 formerly of Etowah, Tn passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2025, in Knoxville, TN.

She was a graduate of McMinn Central High School and was employed at Woods Memorial Hospital for several years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and daughter, reading V.C. Andrew books, and listening to a lot of Christian Music. She enjoyed going to church when she could.

She was a faithful, wonderful, and loving mother to her daughter and her grandchildren. A great sister who never complained but asked for help when she needed it. She was always smiling and laughing; she also enjoyed talking to her two nieces Latanya Brown, and Iwanna Brown. Her smile, her sense of humor, and her passion for her grandchildren will greatly be missed by all, especially the fun times of trick o’treating with her grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Gertrude Shultz – Brown, and Robert L. Brown, her four brothers Jeff (Stanley), Lorenzo (Possum), Fredric, and Cedric (creepy), and one sister, Syliva Brown.

Long lasting memories of her will be cherished by her loving daughter Whitney Natasha Grey, and her grandchildren Malachi, Serenity, and Josiah, all of Cleveland, TN. Also, memories that her sisters, Dora (Lawrence) Newton, Sandra Brown, and Pricsilla Brown all of which in Etowah, TN. Many nieces and nephews and her special friends Nina Melton, and Gail Ramsey.
