Alfred Harrison

Alfred L. Harrison, age 76, of Knoxville, TN passed away peacefully at his home on April 21, 2025. He was affectionately known as “Goody” and “Papa Al” amongst family and friends. Al was hardworking and dedicated, believing in doing things with excellence. He was a veteran of the US Navy, and was later employed for the Kroger Co for many years. He enjoyed having good conversations and was known for his animated story telling. He always looked forward to sharing his knowledge and wisdom with others, and was willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Being raised in the church, he was a man of faith. It is with comfort knowing that Al knew the Lord as his personal Savior and has now entered into eternal rest. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all those that knew him.

Military honors and committal will take place on May 30th at 10 am at the East TN Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920.In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution in memory of Alfred L.
