Ezra Lee Westfield Liggett went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at a hospital in Cleveland, TN. She was 83 years old. She was a graduate of College Hill High School. She retired from Duff Studio of Beauty & Boutique and Life Care Centers of Cleveland. She was member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where she served on the usher board at an early age. She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest Eugene and Delia Blair Westfield, sisters Sarah Elizabeth Westfield, Virginia Jo Westfield-Dotson and Margaret Burke; brothers Thomas and Glenn Westfield, son-in-law Rodney Eugene Kennedy, Sr., niece Debra Westfield Bryant and granddaughter Sarah Angelena Gray. Granny loved her family and the 58 years that she shared with her husband Aaron Franklin ‘Frank’ Liggett. The legacy of her love will be carried on by her daughters Delia Blair (Orlando) Crawford of Cleveland, Maryetta Kennedy of Cleveland, TN, Jamesena Liggett-Johnson of Nashville, TN, and Neomia Lee (Milton) Lee of Lake Charles, LA. She also had three special children in her life. Debbie (Danny) Jones, Dana Stewart and Derrick Duff, all of Cleveland. The greatest joy of her heart were her eight grandchildren. Aaron Pugh, Delisha Crawford, Rhalesha Kennedy, Rodney Kennedy, Franklin N. Liggett, Ezra A. Liggett, William I. Johnson, III, and Alissa S. Kennedy. She found greater joy with her six great grandchildren. Latrell Kennedy, Rhadaysha Kennedy, Jadrian Hughes, LaRhayia (momma) Kennedy, Kylan N. Liggett and Le’Triana Hughes. She was extremely fond of her nephew Marquis D.(Alma) Dotson, Jr and niece Tonya Kay( Anthony) Robinson. She also shared much love with Pamela Vashti( Robert)Dotson-Bright, Tyrone (Lisa) Dotson, Walter Dotson, Theodore and Thomas Westfield, Mallory Westfield, Peggy Goodine and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, cousins and many other relatives and caring friends. Homegoing services be held Sunday, April 24, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Cleveland, Tn. with pastor Rev. Edward S. Robinson, Sr. delivering the eulogy. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
